When to Replace Parts

    • TIRES
      Tread work beyond 50% or below 1/8 inch
      Tire height reduced by 2 inches
      Visible cracks, splits, or chunking
      Cushion tire separation or exposed metal
      Air loss or flat spots
      Increased vibration or instability
    • BRAKES
      Replace pads and rotators when they start grinding or when stopping power weakens, around 5,000 hours
    • OIL
      Replace engine oil every 250 – 500 hours or every 3 – 6 months, depending on engine type
    • FILTERS
      Engine Oil Filters: Every 250 – 500 hours, or when engine oil is replaced
      Air Filters: Every 250 – 500 hours, or in dusty environments every 100 – 200 hours
      Hydraulic Filters: Every 500 – 1,000 hours, or when hydraulic fluid is replaced
      Fuel & Transmission Filters: Every 500 – 1,000 hours, or during annual service checks
    • CABLES
      Immediately if wires are exposed, insulation is cracked, or connectors are damaged
    • GREASE
      Re-grease chassis, mast, and steering components every 200 – 250 hours, or weekly
    • HOSES & BELTS
      Replace hydraulic and power steering hoses every 2 years or 4,000 hours to prevent fluid leaks
    • LIFT CHAINS
      Regularly check for stretching using a chain gauge and replace them every 3 years or 6,000 miles
    • FORKS
      Immediately upon signs of wear, deformation, or structural damage
    • LIFT CYLINDERS
      After 5,000 – 10,000 hours or 5 years if regularly inspected and maintained
    • HORNS
      Immediately if they fail inspection or stop functioning
    • ALARMS
      When they fail, sound distorted, or fail inspection
    • SPARK PLUGS
      Every 500 – 600 hours or every 4 – 6 months
    • LIGHT SYSTEMS
      Immediately when burned out, dimmed, cracked, or broken
