2nd Level Order Picker

Pallet Jack

Strength and Performance Like No Other

The Raymond 8720 Low Level Order Picker pallet truck is raising expectations with a platform that elevates to 47″ for comfortable access to load beams up to 100″. With unrivaled durability and an exclusive design to handle the demands of the North American market, customers can optimize slot utilization and handle the ever growing SKU growth consumers demand.

Optimizing The Most Productive Picking Method in The Industry

To get the most out of low level picking, you need adequate floor slots to accommodate your growing number of SKUs. Too few and you may have to mix products in a slot which can lead to picking errors. Use smaller load sizes and you increase replenishment needs and the risk of pick shortages. The alternative—expanding your footprint—wastes vertical space, increases travel times, and raises costs, if it’s even possible at all. By simply giving operators access to 2nd level slots with Raymond’s unique 2nd level orderpickers, you can continue to enjoy the productivity advantages of low level order picking while doubling access to pick slots. You can also:

  •  Access more SKUs
  • Keep your existing operational footprint
  • Improve picking accuracy
  •  Minimize restocking requirements
  • Enhance productivity
  • Increase profitability

Cold Storage Environments

Refrigerated warehouses, blast freezers, and other cold storage applications require robust control systems. Raymond maintains its own cold storage test facility to replicate the harshest conditions — to test and prove our systems in extreme cycles of freezing and thawing.

Horizontal Transport

Applications should not burden a truck with extensive capability to only transport horizontally. Pallet jacks are a cost-effective method for horizontal transport where stacking is not required. Pallet trucks offer order picking functionality, are available in various fork lengths to maximize productivity, and offer a wide variety of operating positions to enhance operator comfort and minimize fatigue.

Low Level Order Picking

Boost throughput and pick rates with reliable, high-performance Raymond electric pallet jacks. We can customize our vast selection of pallet trucks, including fork length, width and a variety of options, to enhance efficiency in order picking applications. Let us customize a solution for you — from low and floor-level rider pallet trucks for order picking and truck loading and virtually everything in between.

UL EE Applications

This lift truck complies with Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 583. Raymond Type E and EE trucks are UL-tested and UL-certified and designed and manufactured to operate in classified locations as defined in the National Fire Protection Association’s NFPA 505.

Optional Additional Features:

Cold Storage Conditioning Package

Protects sensitive lift truck controls systems with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical components that are matched to different temperature levels to assure peak performance and productivity.s.

Pick2Pallet LED Light System

Increase picking accuracy with the Pick2Pallet™ LED Light System. Offered exclusively by Raymond, Pick2Pallet is designed to help reduce picking errors by using LED technology to visually reinforce product placement for order fulfillment in batch picking applications.

Hands Free Lowering

Hands-free lowering allows the operator to lower the compartment without having to set cases down. The operator can activate lowering the compartment through a foot pedal, centered on the floor of the compartment, for faster more flexible order picking.

Pick Rake

Designed to give order selectors greater reach and superior stability, Raymond’s unique pick rake offers faster, easier access to higher SKU’s and items toward the back of a pallet. By minimizing awkward reaching, stretching and leaning, the pick rake allows operators to work more comfortably, confidently and productively.

Storage Tray

A large and sturdy storage tray provides a convenient method to place picked product without having to lower the compartment between picks.

Travel at Height

Travel at height enables the operator to travel from pick-to-pick while the compartment is elevated – avoiding the need of having to lower and lift again between picks for faster, more efficient order picking.

Rear Control

Easily accessed on the operator backrest, and ergonomically contoured to enhance operator productivity when traveling in the forks first direction.

Operator Compartment Sensor System (OCSS)

The Operator Compartment Sensor System (OCSS) helps reinforce the need for operators to assume and maintain a proper operating position. Different configuration settings are available depending on the task at hand. For example, the OCSS will restrict travel if an operator has not assumed the proper riding operating position or is not alternatively configured so that the operator may assume either the order picking position outside of the truck or in the riding position.
