Turret Truck

Superior Versatility and Performance

The Raymond 9600 Swing-Reach turret truck provides case picking and high-level pallet handling versatility in very narrow aisle applications. The 9600 turret forklift allows you to maximize your storage capacity with an advanced solution that delivers a significant cost savings to your operations.

Watch Your Space Multiply

The proliferation of warehouses applying very narrow aisle designs would not have happened without the vision and innovation of Raymond engineers. We pioneered the narrow aisle concept with the introduction of the Raymond® Reach-Fork truck in 1954. And with the introduction of the Raymond® Swing-Reach truck in 1974, we set yet another standard for very narrow aisle trucks. Today, there are more Raymond Swing-Reach® trucks in operation in North America than all competitors combined. Our trucks have logged more than 100 million hours of operation, and moved more than 1.2 billion loads. The Raymond family of very narrow aisle trucks — including our newest addition, the 9800 Swing-Reach® truck — represents 40 years of continuous innovation. Collectively, the Swing-Reach product family provides a depth of capabilities that is unequaled, a fact that is proven every day in the widest range of applications in the warehouse industry. Our trucks are engineered to maximize our customers’ needs to go higher and narrower, and expand warehouse capacity up to 300%. Our Swing-Reach trucks do more than lift products, they lift businesses to greater heights of productivity and profitability.

Applications:

Cold Storage

Refrigerated warehouses, blast freezers, and other cold storage applications require robust control systems. Raymond maintains its own cold storage test facility to replicate the harshest conditions; testing and proving our systems in extreme cycles of freezing and thawing.

UL EE

The Raymond 9600 Swing-Reach turret truck complies with Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 583. Raymond Type E and EE trucks are designed and manufactured to operate in classified locations as defined in NFPA 505. Type E and EE products are tested and certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL).

High Level Order Picking

Boost throughput and pick rates with reliable, high performance Raymond Swing-Reach turret trucks. Lifting greater capacities to higher heights means greater order picking productivity for your operators. And, we can customize our vast selection of turret trucks, including lift heights and performance packages to meet very narrow aisle needs and order picking requirements.

Very Narrow Aisle

With over 200 combinations of heights, features and capacities, Raymond’s family of very narrow aisle forklifts and swing reach trucks offer superior versatility and effective solutions, each improving the utilization of your warehouse space.

Optional Additional Features:

In-Aisle Detection System

The In-Aisle Detection System is an application specific feature that automatically displays ‘sensor stop’ on the truck display, sounds an audible alarm, and decelerates a truck to a complete stop whenever it detects certain objects in its path (tractor first) and when locked on a wire in very narrow wire guided aisles.

Zoning and Positioning

Zoning and Positioning (ZaP) options ensure more reliable, repeatable truck operation by automatically controlling truck functions, allowing operators to focus on their surroundings and the task at hand.

Virtual Reality Simulator

Exclusive teaching tool that puts forklift operators on an actual swing reach truck in the most realistic virtual warehouse to improve skills, confidence, efficiency and retention. Eliminates the need for large dedicated training areas.

Pallet Handling Unit Platform Barrier

May be added to enhance an operator’s feeling of security at elevated heights. The barrier comes in two different configurations, wide or narrow barrier.

Cold Storage Conditioning

Equip your Raymond turret trucks with a cold storage conditioning package to protect sensitive control systems and assure peak performance in refrigerated warehouses and freezer applications.

Intelliguide Wire Guidance

Automatically steers in wire guided applications, freeing operators to concentrate on picking.

Extended Load Handling

Place, pick and move a variety of load sizes – up to 48″ deep by 108″ wide in aisles as narrow as 68″.

Sidegate Power Disconnect Switch

A customer may determine that it is necessary for the flip-down sidegate to always be lowered during operation, for example to ensure uniformity of a multi-manufacturer fleet. This feature prevents lift, lower, travel and load handling if the sidegate is not in the lowered position.

End of Aisle Slowdown

Magnets buried in the floor reduce the truck’s speed at the end of the aisle, aiding the operator in stopping prior to exiting the aisle.
